Actor Robert De Niro has long been part of the anti-Trump chorus in Hollywood, and his comments this week were no exception. De Niro, who is promoting the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, praised anti-gun activists, called President Donald Trump a “scumbag” and slammed the NRA in an interview this week. “We’re at a point where the things that are happening in our country are so bad and it comes from Trump,” he said. Doc is sick of Hollywood elites who are just trying to alienate half the country.
