The Morning Blaze crew takes on a headline that says, "Alexandria, Virginia, public schools closing for 'A Day Without a Woman'" Today is a day without a women and Doc Thompson starts the segment by saying, "this is a public school." The superintendent says that this is not a political statement they are closing the schools because 300 faculty member took the day off.
Doc has a quick fix for this issue, "you combine the kids and put them to work." Here's a interesting thing that the school is doing today. They won't be teaching students, but they'll be providing free breakfast and lunch for the students
