A difference of opinion or agenda promotion? Sen. Ted Cruz faced off with TV host Jimmy Kimmel for a game of basketball in the “Blobfish Basketball Classic” event for charity. Kimmel had mockingly said in a monologue that Cruz looked “like a blobfish.” Cruz got the last laugh when he won the one-on-one basketball game, which benefited the Texas Children’s Hospital and Generation One. On today’s show, Doc objects to the setup, saying that Kimmel set out to make fun of Cruz and it backfired. “This was designed to embarrass Ted Cruz,” Doc says.
