S O V A (DDAC & Palais Palett, Dresden) is this nice bearded guy we met on the way to Garbicz festival a few years ago. It’s Julius, this guy with whom you funk around all weekend long. This wacky music lover has been playing music since 2009, started collecting and playing vinyl in 2015. His squirrelly way of mixing organic drum rhythms with frisky melodies is fun and delivers a carefree wonky mindset.
He digs music from many genres, mostly warm, often complex, regularly playful. It’s the tracks in between styles that trigger his interest most and make him wanting more. His warm beats remind us of hot tempered summer days, something well missed these cold winter days. Let’s dream and funk away with his mixtape.
