FRIEDA KARLSSØN (Berlin | GER) - that’s the bromance project by Frieda Who? and Karlssøn, two Berlin-Köpenick natives and DJs brought together under the roof of the Mit Dir Festival, a paradise-like event in peaceful Friedland, Brandenburg.
Frieda Who? has been playing music for 12 years now and is usually known for his melodic closing sets playing Tech House and Electronika.
Karlssøn loves b2bs and taking his music library for a walk - et boum, c’est le choc: After a decade of making music in Berlin the two found each other in musical unison celebrating what’s really important: friendship, diversity, realness, community and colorful details. Since then they’ve been riding the disco wave charmed by the sparkles on ice. With heart & wit their sound goes straight into your legs somewhere between Italo, Synth and Nu Disco and has been heard at festivals like Wilde Möhre, Bucht der Träumer, Meeresrauschen and places like Sisyphos (Berlin), Beate Uwe (Berlin) and Odonien (Cologne).
