C A R L O • B O N A N Z A (@carlobonanza - Jena | GER) loves highly danceable four quarter discostuff with a small obsession for the bassline. He’s also the cool guy with the cute dog who convinces with his self-ironic and funny pearls of wisdom on instagram (seriously, go check him out).
Carlo selects dance music with pizzaz, a kind of refurbished disco funk including the ever dashing disco gems that spark joy and happiness on the dance floor. His sets carry the heart of disco music from around the world within, fixed-up with some italo wave, chicago house and lo-fi edits. As initiator and resident of “Salon Kassablanca” and “Disco Light” he reincarnates the disco culture in the music landscape in Jena and beyond. And as versatile as the disco ball sparks light: Be it the opening at Fusion Festival or a 50th birthday party, the Bonanza has had them all.
