Future Frequencies is a creative writing & radio program made by youth ages 14-18.
In this collaboration between local non-profit Lakeshore Arts and Met Radio, youth participants were able to flex their creative muscles in the making of these spoken word pieces.
First they were mentored by writer and community artist, Jingshu Yao, to complete creative writing pieces. The second half of the program focused on radio production (including recording and editing), under the guidance of Met Radio staff: Sarra Gillani and Calan Pittis.
