Last week, reports from a water quality test in Iqaluit showed there were high concentrations of fuel in one of the city’s water tanks. According to the CBC, Iqaluit’s water will be classified as undrinkable until mid-week. The city told residents not to drink the tap water on Tuesday, and later declared a local state of emergency.
