CJRU’s Donovan Lacroxi interviews rapper Darkface Squatta, who’s new single “I’m Addicted” is available on several streaming platforms. He's from a town in southern Illinois and got shot and arrested three days before his song was released. He was in jail for two days before being released, with video showing he was not the suspect. Darkface Squatta got his name following his brother's death; "Darkface" because of his skin colour and "Squatta" because he compares making music to living rent free.
