Born and raised in New York, Amani later moved to North Carolina into the same neighborhood rapper J Cole, whom she did meet in person at a store. It was actually her rapper father who inspired her to get into rap. Her single "Truth and Patience" is on iTunes. She is inspired by Tribe Call Quest, Jay-Z and J Cole. Her album will be out soon.
