The City of Ottawa says tow truck companies that have contracts with the city are refusing to remove vehicles that are in support of the freedom convoy. The city has contracts with 10 companies who usually tow cars following significant snowfall to clear roads. Officials say the companies are afraid to lose business if they tow the truckers.
