A magical place on the rail journey from Sydney to the Central coast in NSW. A large body of water next to rugged bushland. There is a train station there. Its the only train station in Australia that is only accessible by boat or train. It's named after Mt Wondabyne, located adjacent to the station across the bay, known as Mullet River or Mullet Creek.
It has mad eerie weather and there is often mist on the water. Its beautiful.
There are "squatter" houses along a few of the creeks and can be seen from the train, which used to be fishermen's huts all these leased houses are in a National Park so cannot be bought or sold, but can only be occupied by other members of a family.
This mix series is inspired by this place.
