"Here’s the mix I made to go with the think piece (https://mnmt.no/scene/2016-us-techno-piece/). Every artist and remixer is from the United States. I tried very hard to represent East Coast, West Coast, Midwest scenes, as well as some of my friends and their labels like: The Bunker New York, secondnature from Seattle, Blank Code in Detroit, Ego Death in Kansas City, Proper Trax in Knoxville, and so on. I didn’t go very old-school on the mix, as most of the tracks were written in the last 5-6 years. There are some classics like DVS1’s “Polyphonic Love”, but mostly it’s newer stuff over the last two years.
It took me a good 5 takes to get this mix done right as it was with turntables and CDJs using vinyl and digital, but I feel like it turned out quite well in the end and I hope you’re really happy with it too."
