This week we start a new book of the Bible: Colossians.
This book is actually a letter written by the Apostle Paul to the church in the city of Colossae. Unlike the letter to the Philippians were Paul knew everyone there... he had never met anyone in the city of Colossae other than the church's pastor. The big idea for this book is the Jesus lived, died, and rose from the dead. So everything Christians believe or do is a reaction to this truth.
This week consider that because Jesus died, we are called.
