Description

Christmas is more than a season. In Isaiah 40, God declares hope to a weary people and invites them into real rest. This message explores how Christmas points beyond the manger, all the way to the empty tomb, and why the birth of Jesus only makes sense in light of Easter.
We look at how God declared hope to Israel, how he spoke hope to Mary, and how he continues to declare hope to all people today. We also consider why the Christmas story is an invitation to sabbath rest in a season when most of us feel stretched thin emotionally, physically, spiritually, and relationally. If you’re tired, overwhelmed, or longing for renewal, this message points you to the comfort and strength Isaiah promised.
