The Big Idea in Philippians 2 is that people who follow Jesus are to be servants of all. The Big Problem in Philippians 2 is that emotionally unhealthy people often live out this Big Idea in emotionally unhealthy ways.
There has been far too much abuse and toxicity because of people misunderstanding or misusing Bible verses about humility, submission and service. But Jesus set healthy boundaries and removed himself from toxic situations and we can learn to do the same!
