John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that would be written.
All that John wrote concerning Jesus was but a drop in the bucket compared to all that He did in His 33 year life. Although the majority of what Jesus did isn’t recorded and couldn’t be contained if it was, what was recorded is sufficient for anyone to believe and trust in Jesus Christ. We can and should be as excited about the gospel as John was and as the apostle Paul who wrote to the Romans, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
Maybe today God will put people in our paths who need to hear some of what Jesus did. We can also tell them He did much, much more than all of the books in the world can hold. Maybe there will be an opportunity in the future for us to see all of those glorious works of God done in and through Jesus Christ. Wow! What a thought.
