John 13:30 So after receiving the morsel he went out immediately; and it was night.
Jesus fed Judas the morsel of bread dipped in the bowl. Then Jesus told Judas to go and do quickly what he planned to do. Then Judas went out into the darkness. Never to return to the Daylight.
Maybe John wrote this warning in his first letter thinking of Judas. 1 John 2:11 “But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” Walking in darkness blinds a person’s understanding of what they do. John also wrote, 1 John 2:10 “The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him.” Today and forever, may we love others with Jesus as we walk in His light.
