John 9:24 So a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, "Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner."
They gave the “seer” a second chance to agree with their blindness. In essence, they were pressuring him, “Ignore the science and agree with what we say.” However, someone who has once been blind, but has come to see Light and the Truth, cannot ignore reality and defend the lie any longer. Even if the whole world were arrayed against them, they SEE. Suffer what they may, they have no desire to return to the darkness in which they were imprisoned and tormented. Did this man surrender to their control? (Find out tomorrow). Will we surrender to those who want to control what we think and deny what we have experienced with Jesus? Jesus came to set us free from that darkness.
