John 9:28 They reviled him and said, "You are His disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
The Pharisees thought they were disciples of Moses, however, they weren’t. Jesus said that the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms spoke of Him (Luke 24:44), and had they really been disciples of Moses, they would have recognized Him. Everyone is a disciple of someone. The Pharisees received glory from one another, and they sought their own glory, which means they were disciples of the one who gave them the most glory. We live to love with Jesus for His glory. May all the glory go to Him as He disciples us to love.
