John 9:4 We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work.
There is a flow of the works of God. We who are His must work His works as long as we can see that He is at work. We know what His work is. It is to love with Jesus, His Son, for the glory of the Father and the Son. Jesus’ perception of the presence of the blind man in His path was that God had put him there, at that time, for His glory to be revealed. It is still “day time.” God is working. He’s putting people in our paths so that HE can love them through us. As Paul wrote, “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10). That’s what Jesus was doing. Walking in the works God had prepared for Him. Let us walk in the light of this day which God has made, doing the works of Him who sent us.
