Last year Brazilian artist Cement Tea dropped a massive remix project on us all, which featured a host of talented artists from around the world: https://nosleeptillbedtime.bandcamp.com/album/oxymoron-remixes
We had hoped to be a part of this compilation, but as usual. Life got in the way #fuckbread
So as the time passed, a lot of unfinished and abandoned projects started to pile up, and have sat here on our computer. And unfortunately, not much has changed…
In recent times I had revisited the remix, and there were actually three different working versions at one stage. I couldn’t decide which one to invest in. And again, time got away on us…
Until today.
Today I decided to say fuck it, just do it!
I hate the idea of content for contents sake. Where everything has become so disposable, or only used as a means of achieving some sort of short term relevance or attention. I‘m never satisfied with anything that I make either way, even those tracks in the past I did that may have been well received.
So ultimately, who am I to judge?
I still have so much music and art to share with you all. Things that I’d even go as far as to say I actually like... lol
But without allowing these things an opportunity to be heard and seen, what good is it all sitting here on my old hard drive?
