It’s not enough to know who you are. You’ve got to find a way to maintain who you are. It is very easy to “lose” who you are in the complexities of life and living. We get so busy that we get lost. We begin to associate our jobs with who we are, and we get lost. We resign ourselves to stop dreaming and believing, and we get lost. We even get lost in our relational roles. In fact, Satan’s goal is for us, especially as Christians, to lose sight of who we truly are, who God says we are, in the layers of life. Once we forget who we are, we lose our way. So staying on course in life has everything to do with remembering and reclaiming and rediscovering who we truly are.
