Everyone is under authority; everyone answers to someone. We live in a culture where authority is assumed and abused. At the same time, the blessing of free speech is assumed and abused to the point of disrespect. How are we supposed to live under and respond to authority we may not like, agree with, or doesn’t line up with our beliefs? Fortunately, God has much to say about this, and Jesus modeled it beautifully.
