Percebes Música | Produto Interno Bruto II
A year has passed since the last Produto Interno Bruto compilation on Percebes Música. Therefore, we thought it was time to make a new volume of the series on the label. For this sequel, we got inspired by the great eclectic compilations from the '90s, where deep dance tracks were intertwined with less obvious cuts.
Musical documents of the era when the concepts of Rap, Jazz, Dub, and Breaks meet the ideas of Techno, Downtempo, Drum & Bass, Leftfield House, and even Indie Dance vibes made central appearances in the electric portrait of the artist period and movement.
We asked our local friends, as well as our family of producers from around the world to pitch in, and we couldn’t be any happier with the results. This compilation is a fitting homage to this long-lost spirit of variety, abstraction, and experiential excitement.
This coherent collection of diverse musical selections by established artists and new talent alike, features some of Portugal’s truest underground artists who’s contributions are too often overlooked.
