Change Request | LIVE @ Even Furthur
"This Change Request LIVE set together upon the request of the team at Abstrakt Xpressions in Minneapolis. In partnership with The Headspace Collective, they were asked to curate running a stage at the popular Even Furthur music festival in the summer of 2019.
Having just signed a full-length album to their imprint, for release the following year, they took this opportunity to request an exclusive Change Request LIVE performance from me for their headlining slot on their stage at the Wisconsin event.
I wanted to make this very first Change Request show distinctively reflective of the current musical worlds I was writing in my Chicago studio. Exploring a myriad of musical genres, from mid-tempo RnB and ambient pieces to trip-hop and cinematic tone poems for films that don’t exist.
What came out was a two- hour journey into atmospheric sound designs and emotive sonic paintings, ideal for the northern wilderness backdrop of the event."
