Gorgon City | Elevate Feat. Anne-Marie (Andrew Emil Dreamix)
English music production duo consisting of the North London producers Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott, Gorgon City are currently signed to Positiva Records, the UK-based label which is a division of Universal Music Group.
Their 2013 debut single "Real" peaked at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart with their 2014 single "Ready for Your Love" reaching number 4 on that same chart one year later. Released in October of 2014, their debut album 'Sirens’ peaked at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart.
Featuring guest vocalist Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson aka the English singer and songwriter Anne-Marie—four-time Brit Awards nominee and a regular name in the UK Charts—in 2018 she signed with Warner Bros. Records and has been a coach on the tenth series of The Voice UK, since the start of 2021.
For this Dreamix, I made an extended mix of this song around the time when the full-length “Sirens” was being released in 2014/15. It features additional drum and rhythm section programming, extra spatial sound designs, and has a more DJ-Friendly arrangement, that feels more like a dance single than the three-minute forty-one-second original mix.
