Here’s an edit of one of my contemporary indie electronica/rock favorites. The magnificently multi-talented Emmanuelle Proulx—> Enchanté, Mlle. Proulx <—collaboratively writes, sings, plays lead guitar, and performs dreamy impressionistic pop music with Jessy Caron and Dragos Chiriac as ‘Men I Trust’.
Pairing the extended harmonies and traditional arrangements of American RnB with the songwriting folklore of Joni Mitchell. Imagine if Tracy Thorn from Everything But The Girl was Québécois and Led Her Band of Three To Develop A New Category Of Adult Contemporary.
It is SoftJazz or SmoothRock, JazzFunk, AdultRock, FunkPop? IDK It’s the pretty impressive original artwork for such a young trio of musicians, with a gorgeous smoke show of super-duper talent as their lead person. Igor Gonya did a remix, I did an edit for my personal tastes, and added some additional stuff because that’s how we do.
