Róisín Murphy | Momma’s Place (Andrew Emil Dreamstrumental)
For this Dreamix, I reworked a single from an all-time favorite, Irish artist Róisín Murphy.
Known for her work in the production group Moloko, Murphy released “Momma's Place" as a single in January of 2010, after it leaked on the internet. The accapella became readily available via a promotional remix contest she did in partnership with Perez Hilton.
I remade this one with the standard orchestrations of late 90s house music, including live electric bass, guitar, and a mixture of Fender Rhodes electric pianos and Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 pads.
Polishing this one off with @waves-audio temporal and dynamic processing, as well as @eventideaudio modulation and reverberation.
