I had a burst of creative energy yesterday afternoon after receiving celebratory-worthy news, and decided to spend some time playing music. I recorded a set that mixes a plethora of mainstay material in my breaks crate with a swath of new tracks that have been in heavy rotation lately, and that are a divergence from what i've typically been drawn to in the past. Revisiting a familiar soundscape in this way resulted in an abundance of novel percussive experiences and playful song combinations.
