My daughter Zoi was suspended from Jr High School for punching one of her best friends. She felt bad for hurting her friend, but he knew it wasn't deliberate.
Challenges come at us in life and they can seem so daunting.
There have been many times in my life when I've been faced with something so tough, and I've backed away from it. All of that changed 4 years ago after Zoi took her life.
Losing Zoi put me on a different path of healing for not only my self, but my family and all of Zoi's friends. The only way that I could describe it at the time was that "better days were ahead for all of us." A chasm was in front of all of us and it was filled with questions, unknowns and a fog.
In life, Zoi never pulled her punches when it came to care of others. And like Zoi, we are not going to pull punches In this podcast. We are going to bust open the challenges that are close to us and face them head-on. I want to give you every opportunity to breakthrough your challenges. Let's find our purpose and direction - to thrive because of our challenges, not just survive them.
What's at stake if we do pull our punches?
Well, for one - we live a life of mediocrity and we sit in the stands as a spectator making comments about the people who are punching with everything they've got.
If we punch like Zoi, we give everything we've got to others. We make an impact with something that is much bigger than us.
