VIIV (mnmlktchn, Unísono / Puebla, Mexico)
Originally from Mexico City, the now Puebla-based DJ and producer ViiV (@viivunisono) has been emerging in the local underground scene during the past few years. She began her musical journey and craft of DJing while living in Chicago, immersing herself in the scene with the support of the local crew Naughty Bad Fun Collective. ViiV is a flawless vinyl crate digger DJ, frequently performing using vinyl-only records of refined minimal house and techno, although lately she has been introducing more electro and breaks into her sets.
This is a special mix from ViiV, as it leans slightly toward a different sound than what she has pursued in the past, but it embodies the same minimal and conceptual vibe that one can always expect from ViiV's DJ sets.
