This month of June 2021 and things are looking great this summer with a wide variety of tracks to rock the party. The samples on some of these tracks put a smile on my face as I remember the original or other tracks that share the same samples. Lots of genres in the mix from the glitchy electro sounds of HYFINN and Yuuthe to disco-infused and funky house such as Katorzi's 'Take the Heat' and 'Mighty Knight' by Dubbel Drop.
The spotlight this time is on France based label Dont Need A Million and 4 cuts from various releases over the past year. Starting with downtempo lush sounds of Claramont and 'Tribute to Tiago' and finishing at a faster 128 bpm is a great deep tech sound from USHR and the track 'Blue Wonder'
There were over 60 tracks that I pre-selected and 28 that made it on this episode.
