This week, Nathan and Eric are thrilled to welcome actor, singer, and voice actor Paul Nakauchi. Paul has had a long career onstage, performing on Broadway, London’s West End, and extensively in regional and international theaters. Paul launched his career in Yul Brenner’s final revival of 'The King and I' and has appeared in numerous subsequent productions of this classic musical, including playing the King opposite Elaine Paige in London and a principal role in the most recent Broadway revival. Paul also appeared in Allegiance opposite Lea Salonga and George Take, a musical with personal resonance for Paul who tells us about his own family's experience in internment camps during World War II.
On television, you may have seen Paul on Knots Landing, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, ER, and the current Netflix adaptation of Carmen San Diego. Paul played Watari in the recent Netflix adaptation of Manga series Death Note. And he is in demand on the convention circuit due to voicing Hanzo in the popular video games Overwatch and others, including World of Warcraft. Paul is as charming as he is talented. Enjoy!
