I know so many of you want to pull your hair out when it comes to identifying who your ideal clients are & what your niche actually is! For some of you it feels limiting & hard to pick “the one”, for others it’s hard to even see ONE option. I hear you & I understand!
Along my business journey I spent SOOOOOOO many hours trying to figure out WHAT my niche was & WHO my soulmate client is. I probably spent HUNDREDS of hours going round & round & round in circles, pulling my hair out - flip flopping between one niche and then another.
Until I realised something that completely changed the game for me…. You see all this flip flopping, not committing came from a place of believing WHAT I ultimately decided (business vs purpose vs relationships for example!) held all the power. I believed if I chose the wrong one then I’d be in trouble!
I realised that my decision making was coming from a place of scarcity. From my heart of hearts, I KNEW it didn’t matter which path I ultimately decided on - all options were fabulous, the point was just to pick something.
And that’s when, my beautiful friends, I had an even bigger realisation. You see what happens when we don’t pick a focus for our business is we end up wasting time, spinning in circles, pulling out hair out - only to do the exact thing our mind wants. NOT TO MOVE FORWARD.
With my faithful companion - fear of being my highest, most powerful self - by my side, I saw in that moment what I needed to do. Pick something, so I could move forward, serve & not resent my business for all the drama it was causing (of course, that wasn’t my business - it was my mind!).
