He started DJing in 1992, focusing mainly on the garage and house sound emerging from New York and New Jersey at the time. Based in Florida, Chico now produces music in his own style. With releases on Pogo House Records, Snazzy Trax, Soul Revolution and Gents & Dandy’s, Chico is influenced by four decades of American and British dance.
And with Joe Olindo, he’s one half of the production duo Chicolindo, pushing forward a new edgy, beat driven U.S. garage flavor, featuring the remix work of the world’s best new talent. He also hosts The Jackin’ Garage, a weekly show on Grant Nelson’s D3EP Radio Network.
In this mix, Chico takes it back to the golden era of U.K. garage with an hour of 4x4 and 2-step records from the mid to late 90s, sprinkled with some new garagehouse vibes and the U.S. tracks that inspired the London sound.
