Born in Buenos Aires, Magali began to feel attracted to music after receiving her first vinyls from East Side Jamz, Hardleaders and Photek at a very young age. Fast forward to the start of the Y2K, a scene dominated by techno; there, in honor of the great kung fu master, “Maga Lee” is born, starting her career as a DJ mixing drum and bass at the "Station Groove" parties and later securing her a place in the collective "Out of System".
With a style marked with intensity, dark atmosphere sets, and powerful Neurofunk sounds, she was invited by DJ Bad Boy Orange in 2006 to play in his music cycle "+160 Drum and Bass Suite", making Maga the first woman in Argentina to play in the booth of the Drum and Bass scene. This earned her the nickname of "the little amazon of drum and bass".
In 2008 she participated in "Bogotrax" in Colombia, where she played in several event, including a presentation in the district prison in Bogota, after which she presented her project "Drum and bar".
Later, she took residence in "Club Non Serviam", mixing the deepest sounds of electronic music, and here she became involved with the project "Gabinete Sonoro", including techno and house sounds.
Vynil lover, melomaniac, and junglist from her beginnings, Maga Lee is currently active and continues to perform in the Buenos Aires Drum and Bass scene, also participating in events in Cordoba and Chubut. She's been invited to perform in Mexico DF and San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador).
