Join us at services to hear from Huda Abu Arqoub, a co-Executive Director of Abraham’s Vision. This Bay Area program brings Muslim and Jewish teens together for a year of learning. Together, founder Dr. Aaron Hahn Tapper, Director of the Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice and current Swig Chair in Judaic Studies of the University of San Francisco, and Huda Abu Arqoub have created a curriculum and free-standing program to create mutual understanding for the next generation of Jews and Muslims.
Ms. Abu Arqoub holds a BA in Education and English Literature from Al-Quds Open University in Jerusalem and a Master’s degree in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University, where she served as a Fulbright Scholar from 2004-06.
This is part of the 5th Annual Weekend of Twinning, November 16 – 18. Last year successful and meaningful twinning events took place in over one hundred mosques and synagogues with a total participation of 250 Muslim and Jewish organizations in 26 countries on four continents.
