Today we’re joined by Mark Webster, Pharmacist and Integrative Health Practitioner whose ah-ha moment about the role of food in chronic conditions started him on his Lifestyle Medicine journey.
In 2001, Mark founded Stay Well Pharmacy, and in 2017 the Stay Well Clinic in Christchurch, New Zealand, because he wanted to be part of the small but growing trend of pharmacies dedicated to helping people stay healthy.
At Stay Well Clinic, Mark holds private consultations for people to discuss their health concerns. By looking holistically at diet, nutrition, lifestyle and exercise, plus referring to other medical professionals like physiotherapists, occupational therapists or acupuncturists, Mark creates personalized wellness plans that have helped people overcome a wide range of skin conditions, gastro-intestinal issues, hormonal complaints, or just constantly feeling sick and tired.
After nearly 30 years as a registered pharmacist, Mark has accumulated many letters after his name, including a Master of Science in Health Sciences in Integrative Medicine from GW. His dedication to lifelong learning reflects his commitment to move health care and wellness forward.
