The question is, should something as divine as blessing be asked for? Or, should one wait to be blessed till when the guru thinks it is the best? There is no harm in asking for blessings. I used to know a person who said something wonderful once. He said that I had one simple philosophy. Sometimes what happens is that salespeople will keep on doing just meetings. They will meet the prospective client, and they will meet the client again, another time and time. But they never get to close the deal. He said that when he was mentoring some young salespeople, he would tell them that it's okay to meet people, but when are you going to ask for the customer order? The customer will sometimes give you order if you tell the customer that you are looking for an order. There are two perspectives you can take on blessings. First is okay, I am next to an ocean, and when I am next to an ocean, I don't have to sit there and talk about my needs for twenty liters of water every day.
