If you would reflect upon what am I going to tell you today, you will find a new definition of love. Think of love as a thing: for example, a paper is made up of water, wood, rice and other ingredients. Similarly, love is made up of four things. The love survives and blooms if these four things are present in any relationship. First, we are talking about human love. Once we stay on this path then we can get to the divine love.
The first pillar of love is respect. The first and foremost mistake people make is not to respect each other. If in an argument or a fight you speak abusive words to the other person or make fun of them or make them small with harsh words, then neither a friendship nor the love is left in that relationship. Don’t expect that everything will be normal the next day after you have disrespected the other person in your anger. The damage of those insulting words stays. They don’t get erased that easily. Even when you try to erase something on the notebook with an eraser there is always a little mark left on the paper no matter how hard you try to erase it. Similarly the damage done with disrespectful behavior stays forever.
