Justin White subs in as cohost on this episode. Jorge Juarez, local musician/event organizer, joins us to talk about the history of his relationship to the local scene in Laredo, TX. Jorge recently got hired by the production company that handles all of Disney on Ice's production for their U.S. tour. Jorge was gracious enough to sit down with Justin and myself prior to leaving for his new gig. He has organized several notable festivals in Laredo (HippieFest, and WinterFest to name a couple). Jorge suffered a vocal chord injury that halted his tenure as Tour DeForce's lead singer, sending him into a deep depression. He shares his story of how he was able to overcome his vocal chord injury and continue his passion with music. It gets real deep late in the episode. You have been forewarned. ENJOY
