Red Wing United is a South Texas activist group focused on empowering and uplifting the Laredo/RGV community. In light of the recent assassination of George Floyd, Red Wing organized a series of protests in Laredo, TX to express solidarity for the BLM, and pressure local politicians to reform policing in Laredo. Members Silvia and Alfredo join us today to respond to some of the criticism they faced from the community in Laredo, and provide insight into the work put in to develop the demands they proposed to Laredo's City Council.
