This coming Sunday we will be focusing on the theme of 'Joy' as we celebrate the third Sunday of Advent. We will consider the angels’ appearance to the shepherds and how the sudden appearance of God’s light, Jesus, brought joy to the world. Christmas reminds us that God’s light lifts the darkness caused by the painful realities of our lives and replaces it with joy.
