This Sunday, we’ll be wrapping up our winter series, Feast – a journey through the theme of hospitality as seen in the Gospel of Luke. We'll focus on an encounter Jesus had with a sinful woman at a table in the house of Simon the Pharisee, found in Luke 7. In this story, Jesus steps in to advocate for the woman, who is the target of the Pharisee’s anger. We’ll be reminded that in the Kingdom of God, those who have truly experienced God's love and empathy are called to extend that same love and empathy to others.
