Description

This coming Sunday, as part of our winter series Feast, we continue exploring the theme of hospitality in the Gospel of Luke, focusing on how Jesus uses acts of hospitality to reveal the heart of the Kingdom of God. This week we will consider Jesus attending a Sabbath dinner hosted by a prominent Pharisee. During this event, Jesus addresses poor behaviour, teaching that in the Kingdom of God, true greatness is defined by compassion, humility, and generosity, rather than social status or privilege. Through His actions and words, Jesus emphasizes the importance of embodying these virtues in our relationships with others.
