We will be wrapping up our sermon series entitled ‘Promise Box Passages’ this coming Sunday as we have been exploring some of the most common scriptures that are taken out of context. This week we will consider Revelation 3:20 - “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” This verse is often used to represent Jesus knocking on the heart’s door of a person who is not a believer - seeking to come inside. A closer look will reveal that this is not the door referred to in this scripture
