It’s a pleasure to pick up our podcast series again with one of the most peaceful and elegant mixes we’ve ever hosted on TSS. Our ears go to Sydney - Australia, where Dan and Gary have started the phenomenal Low End Theorists platform, and its recordlabel Theory Therapy. From there they are hosting music that we’ve fell in love with many of times and that’s why we are very honoured that Dan mixed an hour of his favourites for us, under his known moniker Patrin.
"For me, this mix is one of the more emotional directions I've taken lately. I've really enjoyed selecting certain tracks based on strong feelings or moods in recent times, and having the chance to record something personal has been so rewarding and revitalising. Much like the many ups and downs of the last few months locked down inside, it was super nice to strike a balance between the sadness, joy, calmness, and everything in between.
