On December 8, 2018 people gathered at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School to demand the General Assembly fulfill its constitutional obligation and fully fund the true cost of education. Before leaving MLK Jr Middle, various politicians, teachers, and students gave speeches to get the crowd rallied up. Ultimately the march ended at the Virginia State Capitol where more people gave speeches. In addition to demanding more funding for schools from the General Assembly, some attendees came with the message of funding schools over building a coliseum.
Here you can listen to speeches from the beginning and end of the march.
