Korea DMZ—1983. Rip Razorton, a newly minted Second Lieutenant in the United States Army, enters a military environment filled with danger. He learns the DMZ mission from a friendly NCO while being harassed by superior officers. What keeps him going is his love for his exotic Native American girlfriend, Angeni James. Razorton, collecting battlefield intelligence on the North Korean threat at Guard Post Ouellette is taken captive but is saved by SFC “Wild Bill” Harrison. Suffering PTSD, Razorton turns to alcohol to ease the pain and the guilt. Razorton, punished for being defiant to a senior officer following the firefight, is assigned as an army escort for a USO band from America called “Total Infusion.” Feeling empty and full of pain, Razorton continued to drown his guilt and sorrow in alcohol. Then, with no warning at all, the female lead singer of the band with purple hair came to his rescue.
